Renal lobe - Definition
It is the kidney section comprising of a renal pyramid and a renal cortex atop. This urinary structure can be viewed without a microscope in humans. Without a microscope, it is difficult to view the structure in animals. This is because the lobe contains many renal lobules that are invisible to the naked eye.
The structure is known as “lobi renales” in Latin.
